The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Georgia says Andreaus Benard Oliver Jr., also known as Dray Oliver, 27, of Cordele, was sentenced Oct. 1 to 168 months (14 years) in federal prison, followed by three years of supervised release. He pleaded guilty April 15 to conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance.

Prosecutors say the sentence runs consecutively to an undischarged Crisp County Superior Court probation case.

According to the Justice Department, synthetic cannabinoid shipments arrived at Oliver Jr.'s 4th Avenue address in Cordele, which agents called a conversion lab after a July 22, 2024, search found more than 175 metal pans, cannabinoid liquid, soaked paper sheets and inmate shipping labels.

His father, Andreaus Benard Oliver Sr., 43, of Cordele, was sentenced Sept. 2 to 210 months for his role while he was incarcerated at the Macon Transitional Center. Prosecutors say the ring was held accountable for 2,610 fentanyl pills and more than 5,502 grams of synthetic cannabinoid.
